About Sara Hughes-Noble
As an Instructional Design Coach, I am passionate about all things educational. I have experience and training in IB PYP and am a qualified teacher trainer. As a committed life- long learner, classroom teacher and a pedagogical leader, I have a particular interest in curriculum design and implementation, instructional best practice and collaboration through mentoring and co-teaching processes. Teachers are at the centre of a school and their students’ success. Having been in the classroom for ten years, I have seen some teachers thrive and some teachers struggle. All teachers yearn for validation that what they’re doing in their classroom is right…is working… is worth sharing with other teachers… and is meeting the school’s and parent’s expectations. I was one of these teachers. All teachers need support; no matter how many years of experience they have under their belts. For this reason, I have made it my goal to support schools and teachers, where ever they are in the educational journey – newly qualified or experienced, to give them the validation and support they deserve. I endeavour to foster a culture of continuous professional learning among staff in Primary schools in Botswana. By collaborating with teachers and principals of various schools, as well as members of the Education Department of Gaborone based tertiary institutions, together we can build the foundations for teacher growth and professional satisfaction.
“I love that Ahhaah!-light bulb moment in a child’s eyes when they realise they understand concept being taught in class. I love hearing teachers say, “I just had the most amazing lesson that went so well! And the kids loved it!” – This is why I do what I do. “
